Established in 1955 by Henry Clarence "Hank" Hampton Sr., Hampton Funeral Home and Cremation Service is a family owned and operated business, dedicated to helping families to cope with the grief of the loss of a loved one.
Our History
Henry Clarence “Butch” Hampton, Jr., is the current owner of Hampton Funeral Home and Cremation. A graduate of the California College of Mortuary Science, he is a licensed funeral director and embalmer for the state of Arizona. Butch also served 5+ years as a combat medic in the US Army National Guard. He is a member of the Arizona Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.Butch was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona. Being well known for his generosity and active participation in the Prescott community, he served as president for the Prescott Frontier Days rodeo, and the Yavapai Silent Witness organization, where he is currently a board member.This family man is strengthened by his lovely wife, two sons and daughter. It is only natural that his Christian upbringing helps him assist families with caring and compassionate services.
